The Eclipse of America’s Greatness is Rapidly Approaching

The perception that America is a nation that is entitled to continued greatness is an illusion who’s light is fading rapidly and may very well soon be extinguished.

Many “baby-boomers” living in this country were taught from birth that our nation’s greatness was our birthright and even to this day continue to just assume that will always be a truth that somehow is immutable.

The real truth, however, is that it is these presumptions and consequent misguided feelings of comfort that will most likely guarantee our nation’s imminent downfall.

The commencement of our decline probably can be traced to the boomer’s “God is Dead -- Flower Power Culture of the 1960s.” That is the generation that allowed an entire generation that followed it to be indoctrinated by a “progressive” secular theology which was allowed by them to incubate in our schools and supplant the Judeo/Christian principals upon which this nation was founded.  That is the brainwashed generation that is now coming of age and taking control of our country’s levers of power.

And yet, the remaining aging boomers who remain among us pretend to be shocked when it is the moral vacuum they created that enabled the new “humanist” religion that is now filling that void to displace divinely inspired concepts that once undergirded our most unique Constitution -- like the inherent value of human life and the Rule of law.  That is the presently emergent ideology now taking hold in our nation that is wholeheartedly committed to the advancement of politically malleable secular concepts like diversity, equity and inclusion.  Which those “progressives” to whom we are passing the torch of administrative leadership now insist are  the “virtues” that are absolutely necessary to remove all previously existent hatred, bigotry and racism from the midst of all mankind -- err, personkind.

The problem with this new national philosophical trajectory is that it is confounding our country’s ability to clearly define not only what it is we believe in and stand for, but also what it is that we as a collective culture will not tolerate due to our collective fear of being labeled  haters, racists or bigots in one form or another.

For instance, today all those who may be opposed to the murder of unborn children or the gender mutilation of our children (who we have allowed to be born), have been clearly advised that they risk being cancel-cultured by virtue of being labeled as something like a transphobic gender bigot.

Just as those who voice their opposition to the invasion of our nation by hordes of people coming from around the world with no knowledge of, much less any allegiance to, even the little things many of us like to take for granted -- like our Constitution -- are likely to be portrayed by the “enlightened” among us as white patriarchal former slave owning racists who must be silenced and removed from any spheres of influence in this nation.

My God, it has now even reached the point that we even have a President who feels compelled to admonish the nation to avoid Islamophobia as we are committing to a war that for all practical purposes is to defend our ally -- i.e. Israel -- against an Islamic brotherhood that is presently calling for a worldwide Jihad that is absolutely committed to the eventual annihilation not only of all Jews around the globe but also all Christians and gays to boot.   Is this not an example of our insanity today that requires our adherence to the twisted logic of a malevolent theology that commits us all to play by the rules set by an amoral diversity, equity and inclusion playbook even if to do so mandates our concession to placate our enemies who are sworn to do all they can to bring about our downfall.

As absurd as this may seem, not only is this the insane world in which we now appear to be living, but even more absurd than this, it is a world based upon an insane system of beliefs that we ourselves have created.

Put succinctly, with our culture’s abandonment of our Judeo/Christian principles and beliefs, we have now trapped ourselves into being required to operate within the warped logic of a man-made amoral system of beliefs that now prevents us from opposing even that which is evil.

Moreover, an even sadder truth is that this cultural quagmire into which we have put ourselves is most likely irreversible … and all this is before we even start to consider our nation’s runaway inflation, plummeting economy, soaring national debt and impending federal bankruptcy.

The undoing of an entire generation that has been taught to be committed to the illogic of a host of miscreant beliefs is not likely to ever be possible before it too late.  Even though many of us might wish we could put this latest generation’s errant ideological goo back in the tube, the simple truth that many of us are doing our best to resist having to admit is that it simply can’t be done short of a revival of the Judeo/Christian values and ethics that in an earlier day might have defied its emergence.

The conclusion?

Reversing the errant brainwashing of an entire generation that we have allowed to come into being right under our noses is not likely to be possible.

Short of the direct intervention by the very God who helped make our nation even possible -- but, who we have since also undeniably turned our backs upon -- America’s departure from greatness is now certainly foreseeable.

And, even sadder still, due to our nation’s complacency about the tragic transformation of America’s moral foundation that we have allowed to take place, that departure of America from its former greatness is by now most likely an irreversible certainty.

Please, if you have a moment, I would greatly appreciate it if you would do your best to convince me that I am wrong in the comment section below.  I, as a once proud American, could use the encouragement.
